Welcome to our blog! After our recent launch of our new website, www.ambrosiophotography.com, we are excited to share our new blog with you! We look forward to posting about our recent weddings, engagments, and exciting new studio developments.

Craig and I have been shooting together for 10 years, we met while were photojournalist's at competing newspapers. Almost 9 years ago we started business in South Florida and began our lives together as husband and wife a few years later. That is us on our wedding day! We truly understand all of the planning, laughter and tears that make a wedding day a magical event.

A beautiful evening at the Rusty Pelican…

Congratulations to Lauren and Alex! This recent Knot magazine cover girl married her true love in a touching ceremony overlooking Biscayne Bay at the Rusty Pelican. A beautiful late afternoon storm created a stunning backdrop, with gorgeous clouds creating an almost surreal effect to the downtown Miami skyline. With steel drums playing, and there eyes locked on each other, Lauren & Alex both held back tears as they exchange wedding vows. The weather held off with enough time to say “I Do”, and then it was time to party! With a perfect mix of southern rock and a fun latin vibe, the newlyweds enjoyed a fabulous party with friends and family.

A fantastic greek affair …

Congratulations to Dore’anne & Kirk! This wonderfully relaxed couple tied the knot recently at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox church in Coral Gables. A beautiful church, with soft romantic chandelier’s casting a warm hue during the ceremony. After they exchanged vows, the newlyweds returned to the Biltmore for dinner and dancing – complete with an authentic Greek band.

A hurricane & a seminole – touchdown!

After a beautiful ceremony preformed by the bride’s sister, this wonderful couple danced and laughed with friends and family all night long. Congratulations to Patricia and Marco – whose love grew from a far and came together for an intimate ceremony & reception with friends and family at the Intercontinental Hotel. A beautiful day in Doral…

Congrats to Tina and John! This warm and wonderful couple had a beautiful ceremony in the Spa Gardens at the Doral Resort and Spa & danced with their guests in the beautiful ballroom. The steamy south florida weather held out as we spent some time with the newlyweds on the gorgeous grounds of the golf course.

Many thanks to the wonderful team from Avant-Gardens, the staff of Doral Resort and Spa, and cinematographer Diego Pocovi for making their dreams a reality.

A cultural affair…

One of our favorite parts of weddings is the ceremony, and when it represents the multicultural backgrounds of our couples it makes it even more exciting!
Kelly and Paolo were married at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. From a great distance this wonderful couple planned a gorgeous Persian ceremony to represent the bride’s culture and added a bit latin flair to honor the groom’s. After their ceremony the couple entered a room that was breathtakingly designed by Bruce Barbaree of Biltmore Event Design & Raffi at Petal Productions – with royal seating and thousands of red roses. Their entire day was perfectly executed by Jackie of Jackie Ohh Events – making sure the happy couple had a day they will never forget.

A bit of rain and then a beautiful rainbow..

Congratulations to Gabi and Gus, who were recently married at the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Naples. This wedding had a few first’s for us – all of them so much fun to photograph. Gabi and her dad choose to have a “first look” and it was so emotional to be a part of. It was also the first time we have ever witnessed rain during a ceremony, which some say brings good luck, but for this wonderful couple it brought a beautiful rainbow. Even though the rain did not bring a west coast sunset, we were so excited for our 1st rainbow! After a beautiful ceremony on the beach, the newlyweds danced the night away to the sounds of Private Stock Band – and even had a groomsmen serenade them with a rockin Metalica song.

Craig and I wish you all the best as you begin your life together – and know that there are many more rainbows in your future.

A perfectly styled affair at the Boca Raton Resort …

Congratulations to Andre and Sarah! It was an honor and a lot of fun to spend the day with both of you. Your attention to detail and willingness to run around and take crazy photos in the blistering South Florida sunshine makes us love what we do even more! From the parisol, to the hand made chuppah, custom cake topper and fabulous ceremony decor – this wedding was perfectly designed and a ton of fun.
